PR and Social Media Specialist

Our client is the Research arm of a large global company and they are currently looking for a PR And Social Media Specialist to join them, working from their offices in the centre of Cambridge.

This is a newly created position and will involve taking ownership of the PR and Social Media function, acting as the main point of contact for media queries, hosting media visits and events and working with PR Departments across the company, aligning with the company-wide PR and Communications policy. You will also work closely with Researchers and Engineers and be able to translate technical communications for a general audience. This role will also take responsibility for managing the social media presence for the Research Lab.

A previous background in PR with social media experience is required including having an established network of media contacts. In addition superb written and spoken communications skills are absolutely vital.
