PR and Marketing Officer

Harvey Nash is seeking an experienced PR and Marketing Officer to join a large public sector client based in Edinburgh city centre, on an initial contract until the end of March 2016. The purpose of the role is to assist in the development and implementation of internal and external communications strategies for a development tool used within the business.

Responsibilities

. Line management responsibility for a Communications Assistant
. Ensuring expenditure is within budgets and ensuring that best value is obtained at all times
. Managing launch and training events for the development tool
. Writing content for publications and for the website
. Providing PR/marketing advice to colleagues within the business
. Drafting and issuing social media communications
. Liaising with stakeholders
. Proof-reading

Experience Required:

. Previous experience in a public relations and marketing role
. The ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines
. The ability to multi-task effectively
. Excellent communication skills
. Computer literacy and strong Microsoft Office skills
