PPS Account Representative Job

PPS ACCOUNT REPRESENTATIVE needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in San Francisco, CA.

Top Skills Should You Possess:
- Knowledge of ICD-9 and CPT Codes
- Medical Insurance Billing
- Revenue Cycle Experience

What You'll Be Doing:
- Responsible for providing revenue cycle management support to PPS contracted Physicians and practice offices
- Examine and evaluate accounts as appropriate for follow-up action
- Resolve invoices through communication with payers, physician offices and the patients
- Review of non-payment and/or incorrect payment for possible appeal
- Work electronic claim edit to accuracy and completeness of all required information
- Post insurance and patient payments
- Handle and resolve incoming telephone calls from patients

What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- Two (2) years of applicable work experience with patient accounting revenue cycle process
- Knowledge of CPT, ICD-9 coding and medical terminology
- Knowledge of medical/insurance billing
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Advanced computer skills
