A highly established bank is seeking an experienced Finance Controller within their PPI team. They are to oversee all accounting and financial control activities for PPI within customer transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring integrity of PPI balance sheet
- Ensuring correct accounting treatment for all PPI-related items.
- Ensuring PPI operates in financial control, complying with SOX, attestation and reconciliation requirements.
- Driving remediation and improvement activities to support of all the above.
Key Skills:
- Strong leadership experience
- EXCEPTIONAL FINANCE CONTROL AND PROJECT EXPERIENCE
- MUST HAVE BANKING AND FINANCE SECTOR BACKGROUND
- Ability to understand technical accountancy requirements - however, a qualified accountant is not essential
- Ability to respond in a fast paced environment and ability to take on new challenges
- Desired - Payments control or reconciliation
