Powercenter Administrator - Contract (Brussels)

I am currently working with a large major service provider based in London, who are looking to bring on an experienced PowerCenter Administrator to work for their end client based in Brussels, Belgium, initially on a year long contract (extension likely). My client is NOT looking for a Developer or BI Consultant, as the role is going to undertake all aspects of support around the PowerCenter suite.

Experience

- System Technical Profile with experience of BI systems
- Experience of PowerCenter and PowerCenter Big Data Edition
- Able to adapt quickly to a new BI tool - Qlikview, BO, SAP, BW, SAS, PowerCenter, Metasuite
- Ability to liaise with structural management and act as a contact for the IT Architect & BA.

Requirements

- Monitoring/Follow-Up/Performance Checks on tools
- Solving problems with the tool environment
- Installing the hot fixes of the vendor and upgrade of the tool to the higher version
- Release Management between different environments
- Create and maintain blueprints of the tooling environment so that continuity of knowledge can be

guaranteed.

Knowledge

- Open Systems
- Oracle/SQL
- Perl
- Subversion
- Hadoop and other Big Data Management Infrastructures
