Powerbuilder Developer Immediate Need

SR. POWERBUILD DEVELOPER NEEDED

Currently, we are seeking a Sr PowerBuilder Developer to join our team of professionals!  Selected individual will provide application design, coding, unit testing, testing support, implementation and leadership.

Analyzes highly complex business requirements, designs and writes technical specifications to design or redesign complex shared applications. Provides coding direction to less experienced staff or develops highly complex original code. Acts as an expert technical resource for designing, modelling, testing and analysis efforts.

Verifies program logic by overseeing the preparation of test data, testing and debugging of programs. Support systems testing and the migration of the application to production. Develop new documentation, departmental technical procedures and user guides if needed.

Ability to leads projects, allocate and manage resources if needed.

- 7+ years application development and implementation experience.
- 5+ years of PowerBuilder development experience.
- 2+ PowerBuilder Foundation Classes(PFC) experience
- 2+ years of database development experience with Oracle PL/SQL or other major database.
- Ability to document impact analysis, detailed designs and unit test plans.
- Excellent analytical, decision-making and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Project life cycle knowledge.

- Prior experience with collections systems.
- Experience developing for a n-tier application
- Working knowledge of XML and Service Oriented Architecture
