EDELWAY AG is looking for a Powerbuilder Developer for our major client based in Zurich.
You will be responsible for the design, documentation, implementation, and deployment coordination of changes to applications developed in Powerbuilder.
The ROLE:
* Analysis of business requirements and translation into a technical solution
* Deriving technical design and implementation of business logic
* Performing unit and functional testing
* Guarantee of consistent approach and maintainable code
* Communication with internal clients, other team members and project leaders
* Following development guidelines and standards
* Writing technical documentation of final product
YOU NEED:
* Minimum 5 years recent experience with Powerbuilder, SQL and PL/SQL
* Experience in:
- Maintaining and enhancing Client Server applications in Powerbuilder and Oracle
- Implementing business logic at the database level, particularly in Oracle PL/SQL
- Performance tuning of database queries
- Refactoring existing application logic
* Agile methodology (SCRUM)
* Experience in SAP BO Data Services is a plus
