Powerbuilder Developer

A highly-regarded Queensland Government department is seeking an experienced POWERBUILDER DEVELOPER to join their team in Brisbane for a 3 month contract, with opportunities for a further 3 month extension. The successful candidate will be working in a team environment and will be an integral part of a large migration project.

Skills/experience required:

- Minimum 5 years demonstrated experience in software development undertaking PowerBuilder and relational databases
- Minimum 5 years demonstrated experience with PowerBuilder version 11.5 or above, and SQL Databases such as Oracle, Ingres or Sybase Adaptive Server Anywhere

The following skills are not essential but would be highly:

- Ability to work in a team environment
- Knowledge of PowerBuilder Foundation Class Library would be an advantage
- Strong communication skills;
- Experience in software development and support of Powerbuilder systems
- Experience with Sybase Adaptive Server Anywhere databases ability to easily understand and utilise our other database platforms such as Ingres and Oracle.
