Powerbuilder Consultant (Dutch Speaker)

POWERBUILDER CONSULTANT (DUTCH SPEAKER)

Context:
DEVELOPMENT OF ADMINISTRATIVE TECHNICAL APPLICATIONS IN A POWERBUILDER ENVIRONMENT.

You will develop, test and document application code following the applicable standards and based on technical & functional specifications and this related to projects, maintenance, bugfixing and user support.

Tasks in detail:
- Write, test and document the code' in the development environment
- Start from the technical specifications provided by the business analyst
- Follow the development guidelines and internal IT standards
- Strictly apply to the change & release mgt process procedures
- Provide technical advice to business analysts or designers in case of modifications to the applications
- Make correct evaluations on the technical feasibility of requests
- Take care of the tickets from the incident management process
- Report to the concerned domain experts and designers

Expected technical skills:
- Solid knowledge and experience with POWERBUILDER development environments
- Solid knowledge and experience in developing PL/SQL queries
- Solid knowledge of POWERDESIGNER
- Experience with USECASES/UML as used in analysis documents
- Solid knowledge of ORACLE DATABASES, so you could also execute some DBA TASKS
- Experience with MICROSOFT TEAM FOUNDATION SERVER, in specific in source control (check in/out, branching, merging).
- Solid knowledge of XML
- Knowledge of ITIL Processes
- Experience with Sparx Enterprise Architect is a plus
- Experience in .NET development environments is a plus
- language skills: STRONG DUTCH SKILLS REQUIRED, and English

- 10 years experience in a similar function and environment
- Prepared to dive into the applications and the implemented processes
- Can work in a team and autonomously
- Possess an analytical mind, and are studious and punctual
- Can easily communicate with peers

- High sense of responsibility
