Powerbi Data Engineer (Alteryx Designer;r Python;etl;cdc)

We are currently in search of a POWER BI DATA ENGINEER for our client's office in The Hague.

Brief description:

You will be a key contributor on Analytic teams, primarily by applying automated techniques to GATHER DATA from disparate databases; CLEAN THE DATA, and LOADING THE TRANSFORMED DATA into a structure suited to the business problem and analytic approach.
You will create and apply one-off tailored solutions for data wrangling as well as development of semi-automated and automated ETL and database solutions.
You should have the understand how to ACCESS and EXTRACT DATA through various means (web services, web crawlers, direct access to source database, etc).
Additionally, you will need to access and clean a variety of data source formats (eg PowerPoint, PDF, Word, Text, Access, SharePoint, Oracle, MySQL, SAP HANA, BW etc.) to access data germane to the analysis.
You will work in a team environment to both understand and apply analytic methods to business problems.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

- POWER BI
- ALTERYX DESIGNER
- R PYTHON
- ETL AND CDC TOOLS: Informatica Power center; Informatica Power Exchange; Pentaho
- Database systems (SQL-based and NO SQL based)
- Relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MSSQL, Oracle,HANA etc
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or other business-related field
- 4+ years of Data, Analytics experience, and Oil industry experience is preferred
- Demonstrated ability to write clearly, succinctly, and in a manner that appeals to a wide audience
- Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation creation tools, as well as Internet research tools

ADDITIONAL SKILLS:

- Database management: Oracle Exadata 11g/10g/9i; Teradata 13/12/V2R5; DB2, MS SQL server
- Development tools: TOAD, SQL Developer; SQL. Plus; SQL Navigator, SAP HANA, BW, SharePoint,
- AZURE cloud platforms
- Programming languages: C; C++; SQL; Perl; R Python; VBA; PL/SQL, XML, JSON
- Data modelling tools: Microsoft Visio; Erwin 7.5/4.x
- Big data and cloud processing experience, eg Hadoop, Hadoop Spark and Visualization tools like
- Spot fire and Power BI
- Experience working in a cloud based environment, such as the Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or the Amazon Cloud
- Using languages such as Jupyter and TensorFlow

SOFT SKILLS:

- Being able to work independently with minimal guidance
- Having strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills while exercising mature judgment
- Effectively prioritizing workload to meet deadlines and work objectives
