Power Systems Team Leader - Direct Hire - Bakersfield, Californ

I am currently for a Power Systems Team Leader role with a major Oil company located in Bakersfield, California.

This is a permanent/direct hire role and a relocation package will be available.

Responsibilities include:
-Maintain leadership role to develop relationship with multiple disciplines, as well as recruit, develop, and manage a proficient staff
-Managing electrical power generation and transmission/distribution systems
-Manage and measure electrical infrastructure performance
-Provide technical comments to electrical projects such as specifications, one-lines, schematic and wiring diagrams
-Electrical field surveillance of electrical equipment (motors, transformers, switchgears, substations, etc)

Qualifications include:
-Bachelor's of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE)
-Minimum 10 years experience with transmission, industrial power generation, and distribution systems.
-Ability to model power systems (load flow, short circuit, etc)
-Understanding and experience with power systems concepts such as protection systems (protective relays, station VDC supply), X/R ratio, medium voltage switchgear and MCC, large medium voltage motors, and high voltage substations
