Power Systems and Technology Operations Manager

Power Systems Manager Vacancy with Renewables and Power Client based in Manchester - Are you up for the challenge...? My client is currently looking for a Power Systems Manager for their growing business based in Manchester. The ideal candidate for this position would be very experienced in their field and have practical experience of transmission, distribution, and industrial or generation projects. It is critical that the candidate has an excellent client focus and is able to interpret client requirements and manage and deliver sometimes difficult or complex projects to their satisfaction. This would include engaging proactively with clients to ensure that the scope is understood as well as maintaining client relationships, undertaking and managing project work, writing and reviewing documents and reports. Typical projects that my client works on include: Generation connections Utility network reinforcements Petro-chemical system analysis Project feasibility studies Strategic power system analysis Software based analysis solutions Supporting wind project and installation teams Emerging technology reviews Failure investigations and advice It is a feature of much of their work that, although the core content is highly technical in nature, the results often have to be presented to various stakeholders in a way that is readily understood. The candidate should be able to communicate complex issues in a clear and concise manner whilst still being capable of technical discussions at a high level.
