Power Management Unit Component Verification Engineer (m/f)

MY DUTIES:

-Definition and maintenance of system, design and component level verification requirements for PMICs
-Description and explanation of test cases based on verification requirements delivered by platform, concept and design teams
-Analysis, design and implementation of test case software in Matlab script language and other script languages, making use of provided control toolboxes and automation framework
-Execution of test cases on PMU DUTs to check chip performance against specification characteristics
-Preparation, documentation and presentation of measurement results to the PMU team, designers, application engineering and platform teams
-Analysis of and root causes identification of PMIC issues, delivering ideas of possible work around and bug fixing solutions
-Review of printed circuit board (PCB) schematics and layouts for component verification evaluation boards

MY QUALIFICATIONS:

-Experience on component verification, debugging and analysis of analogue / mixed signal blocks, especially high power circuitry
-Experience in software development of measurement automation, implementation of automated tests (ANSI C/C++ or Matlab)
-Skills on mixed signal analog circuitry is mandatory
-Technical expert skills on oscillator circuits (XO / TSX / TCXO / VCXO) is required: Phase Noise, Startup Time, Supply Pushing, Load Pulling, Negative Resistance measurements to be executed
-Having worked on single phase / multiphase DCDC buck converters, bandgap, linear voltage regulators and other power regulating circuits is a plus.
-Special know how in verification of a general purpose ADC (GPADC) is a plus: Non-Linearity measurements (DNL / INL), DC-Offset and Gain measurements, SNR / ThD, Power Consumption, State Machines and Control Logic tests
-Know how on digital control logics (state machines, test logic, register access, digital interfaces) is required
-Hands on experience with lab measurement equipment needed (mixed signal digital oscilloscope, multi meter, power supplies, current sinks, power amplifier, spectrum analyzer, Signal Source Analyzer) is a plus
-Knowledge about SOC embedded systems and ARM Cortex-M/A microcontroller is an advantage
-Knowledge about high speed serial channel protocols (USIF, SPI, I2C, IIS, RFFE, MIPI) is a plus
-Work experience on multilayer printed circuit board (pcb) schematic entry and layout design for high speed / high power circuitry is an asset
