Power Electronics Engineer

Power Electronics Engineer - Southwest, Permanent
£35,000 - £45,000

As part of my clients ongoing expansion, they require another Power Electronics Engineer to join the electronics team. You as the successful candidate will be required to assist your colleagues to design DC - DC converters, Power supplies and DC- AC Inverters. My client has a proven record of designing innovative products which are distributed and marketed on a international basis.

Skills required:

- Degree educated - Electronics discipline or similar.
- Experience in power electronics; DC- DC or DC-AC
- 2 years or more commercial experience in electronics design.

Daily responsibilities include:

Designing electronic circuits using both analogue and/or digital technology
* Researching and understanding new and alternative design options for our products.
* Producing schematics and BoMs
* Liaising with production staff on new product introduction and ironing out quality and build issues.
* Working with external design organisations.
* Liaising with mechanical engineers
