Postdoctoral Fellow in Immunology Opening

A postdoctoral position is available for a self driven individual to study gut immune functions. Presently, we are interested in lymphocyte activation, costimulation signaling, and antigen presenting cell functions, and we typically combine in vivo immunology approaches using mouse models with microbiology techniques.

Candidates must hold a Ph.D. or M.D. degree in Immunology. Priority will be given to an individual with a background in gut mucosal immunology. Extensive experience working with mice and flow cytometry are required. Knowledge and/or expertise in gut microbiome or microbiology is a definite plus. The applicant must have effective communication skills, both oral and written, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Research will be performed in the state-of-the-art laboratories of the Child Health Institute of New Jersey-the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, located in New Brunswick, about 38 miles from Manhattan, New York City.
