Postdoctoral Fellow - Genetics of Longevity

We are seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and outstanding postdoctoral candidate to participate in a research program built upon our novel forward genetic screens in mouse ES cells. One objective of our current study is to identify genes conferring stress resistance at the cellular, as well as the organismal level. The position requires strong proficiency in molecular genetics, stem cell culture, longitudinal mouse physiological and behavioral studies, and biochemical techniques to elucidate the role of the identified novel genes play in longevity and the improvement of health span.
