Postdoctoral Fellow - City of Hope Beckman Research Institute

A Postdoctoral Fellowship position is available in at City of Hope Beckman Research Institute in the laboratory of Dr. Yilun Liu. The focus of the lab relates to the studies of the molecular functions of human RECQ family helicases in DNA replication, transcription and DNA repair using biochemical and cell biology approaches. RECQ helicases are tumor suppressors important for genome maintenance. Mutations in different RECQ proteins have been linked to distinct clinical syndromes with various developmental abnormalities, premature aging phenotypes and cancer predisposition.
