POST GO LIVE PHARMACY DEPLOYMENT SUPPORT

DURATION: 4-month contract (W2)

CLIENT: One of the country's largest health care and health plan providers

DEPARTMENT: Outpatient Pharmacy Replacement Program

JOB DESCRIPTION:

- Facilitate training classes and/or provide go-live assistance for new pharmacy software deployment with limited supervision
- Assist in troubleshooting hardware and application software defects which includes thorough documentation
- Provide training to end users for the central fill/mail order processing component at our large volume facilities
- Provide pre- and post-system go-live deployment support for end users
- Provide proactive support and resolving any challenges or issues that the end users have encountered
- Perform user acceptance testing for all aspects of the new system including central fill and mail order processing

DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Help and support the end users with any questions or issues with pharmacy applications
- Report out incidents/problem tickets of issues with pharmacy applications
- Check/monitor daily maintenance tasks for production support (examples as below)
- Stuck pharmacy orders in the system
- Managing system electronic work and messages queue for problematic orders
- Perform user acceptance testing of fixed defects, testing and validating new requirements developed and ad hoc testing
- Attend WebEx meetings with vendor and application support to discuss and provide additional information about the defects

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS:

- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 2 to 5 years' experience in training systems health care experience
- Pharmacy background is preferred, but the most important is deployment support experience 
- Prior experience in a similar role where you excelled in teaching and training
- Recent experience in the area of software implementation, preferably in pharmacy or in a health care setting
- Engage quickly with new systems/have experience with training systems
- Strong written and verbal communication plus presentation skills
- Well-organized, dependable, self-sufficient, self-directing
- Strong trouble-shooting skills
