POSITION SUMMARY: We have an exciting post-doc opportunity available and are looking for a recent Ph.D. graduate to join our team. This role will work in solid-state NMR spectroscopy of pharmaceutical materials. Topics include dynamics of molecules in amorphous and crystalline states of drug candidates and formulations, as well as quantitation of amorphous components and measurement of domain sizes in small molecule/polymer mixtures. A further area of interest is solid-liquid interfaces.

The qualified individual would be responsible for a 400 MHz wide-bore spectrometer by Varian (Agilent) equipped for both solids and liquids, used primarily for analysis of solids.
