Wir suchen für unseren direkten Kunden aus dem Bereich Retail einen SENIOR PoS CONSULTANT (w/m)

Projektstart: 16/4/18 (can start before or a bit after if right candidate)

Standort: Munich (maybe 20% international travel)

Aufwand: ~60 days (Option for Ext)

Umfang:

Our client is implementing a new ePOS solution for its stores around the globe. The project is in its implementation phase, with a pilot planned to be conducted in Mai/July.

In parallel to pilot preparation, the ePOS solution as such (software, integration, etc.) and underlying processes (release management, operations, etc.) need to be shaped. Furthermore lean and efficient procedures to roll-out the solution on a global scale (e.g. requirements engineering) are required to be designed, implemented, and executed.

Aufgaben:

Analyze and refine demand requirements for tailoring future ePOS solution

Develop rationale and perform scoping assessments to determine technical and commercial feasibility of change requests

Manage and coordinate internal and external application development resources as part of project

Coach and train internal staff members in requirements specification, implementation, and management of ePOS solution

Liaise with the service development team (external partner) to develop and assess technical solutions

Support the development of project estimates (costs, timeline) for the development of the technical solution as an input for the overarching business case

Coordinate test activities incl. user acceptance tests with Business Relationship Manager and business units

General project and program management activities

Rollout Management

Completion of project task in time, in budget, and at quality

Comprehensive, clear, and understandable documentation of standard to-be processes and procedures

Transparent requirements documentation and evaluation supporting management decisions

Continuous and steep learning curves of internal ePOS managers

Anforderungen:

>10 years experience in relevant fields

Profound knowledge and experience in technical release management, application development, and application maintenance for ePOS solutions

experience in interface design and data configuration ePOS - SAP/ EDI/ ...

5+ years experiences in designing and building solutions and applications in Sales and Distribution, Point of Sales

4+ years experience in defining, developing, and managing Points of Sales Solutions

Experience in defining, developing, and managing Customer Relationship Systems and integrating them into Point of Sales Solutions

4+ years experiences in analyzing and breaking down problems and information using structured frameworks and methodologies

3+ years of functional solution development and documentation

3+ years experiences in managing external application development providers, preferably in an outsourcing model

3+ years experience interacting with business customers and managing expectation

In-depth understanding of business processes, business issues and data challenges of the retail industry

Enterprise architecture skills in the Sales and Retail domain

Excellent communication skills in English, German is a benefit

Analytical thinking abilities and client facing communication skills

Very good knowledge of business processes (Point of Sales)

Solid commercial/business acumen

Strong focus on SAP related solutions, Salesforce, and TP.net

Solid understanding of architectural concepts and integration of Retail applications in the overall application landscape

Project Management Experience - within an agile enviromnent

experience with design and introduction of TP.net

Fluent in English (German nice to have)
