The teams of transformation & Technology are managing a diverse portfolio of technology and business driven initiatives. Initiatives & Projects are following several different methodologies: scrum, waterfall,… or have different objectives: prototyping, research & development, technical migrations, classic projects,…
We are searching a portfolio manager that can organize the portfolio for our divisions in a comprehensive way. Your role will also be to steer and coach other project leaders and be project leader of some projects in the portfolio.
The technology aspect is rather important in our department: we are developing apps, building the web-frontends, responsible for cross-platform integration, technology research,… but we keep always the end-user in mind.

Objective of the job
As Portfolio & Project Manager you will be responsible for
The Portfolio & Project Manager will support AG Insurance in the management of a project portfolio that aims to
° proactively plan technical upgrades impacting software in the roadmap
° structure research & development & innovations
° app development
° fast track developments in .NET & CRM domain
and take up the project management of a few projects himself.

In more detail this means:
° The organisation of the portfolio follow-up, in collaboration with and under supervision of the Management IS Transformation & Technology.
° The Organisation, management, coaching of the Project Team's and Project Leader's
° Help in the Overall Project Management
° Help in managing the technical patrimonium: structure the applications & technology used. Triggering the management if actions/projects need to be started.
° Advice the IS Transformation & Technology management on potential improvement in organization, follow-up,…
° Coaching the project leader's in:
° Construction and follow-up of the project plans
? Monitoring and Control of milestones and deliverables
? Budget preparation and follow-up
? Identification and follow up of risks and issues
? Communication to the Management and other Project Leaders.

Education
University Grade.

Languages Requirement
*Dutch and French (one fluent in speaking, the other one good at least)

° Experience with follow-up and delivery of portfolio of projects (> 2.000 man days)
