Portfolio Manager (Privacy) - 6 Mth Contract - Sydney CBD

Our client is recognised as one of Australia's largest banking and financial institutions and is currently in the market looking for a "Portfolio Manager" to join their Protection team. The role is a 6 month contract opportunity to be based at their state of the art Sydney CBD offices!

In this role you be required to reach out and work across all business units within the organisation acting as a Privacy advisory practice within. You will be managing a team of two, and will be expected to be the first point of contact for any Privacy related queries as a Privacy subject-matter-expert to their individual needs.

In order to be successful in obtaining this role, you will require the following background and experience:

- Proven background in in a privacy and/or data protection focussed position with a strong knowledge on their laws and regulations and how they apply to financial institutions.
- Previous experience improving business processes and services
- Capable of managing resources and working to a budget within a business and ability to support and advise various stakeholders on their privacy related needs.
- Genuine interest in working with new technology and proven ability to think "outside the square" to ensure any potential issues that would arise are carefully considered and addressed.
- Impeccable communication and negotiation abilities.
