PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT OFFICERS

£26,067 - £35,505 per annum

Full-time, 36 hours per week

24 month fixed-term contract

Do you have significant experience of co-ordinating activities, which support and improve the successful delivery of programmes and projects? If so, we could have the perfect position for you at Kew.

Kew's mission is to inspire and deliver science-based plant conservation worldwide, enhancing the quality of life. To maintain this, Kew has a significant portfolio of technology-based projects to deliver.

We are looking for someone to join the Technology Portfolio Management Office, in an interesting and diverse role. You will support and improve the efficient delivery of the portfolio in line with Kew's PPM and Best Management Practice governance standards on behalf of the business units in Kew, including; Science & Horticulture, Library and Archives, Content and Learning, Finance, HR and IT. You will ensure that the portfolio's wide-ranging governance activities are co-ordinated and administered efficiently and effectively to support Kew's five year Rolling Strategic Business Plan, which will result in increased revenue and income.

With a degree or equivalent work experience in a Technology, Engineering, Science or Business subject, you will hold a professional qualification in Project Management such as PRINCE2, P30, MSP or equivalent, and be able to work in a nimble PMO environment. A background in tracking and reporting projects is essential, as is financial and information management of projects.
