Portfolio Management Administrator - Credit Analyst - Investment Banking
St Pauls, London - 5 Months

The Portfolio Monitoring Administrators (PMAs) are a group of associates primarily responsible for providing credit administration support to the Credit Risk team.

Responsibilities
* Support and assist Credit team on a daily basis in the management of their portfolios, including the review and renewal of global facilities
* Creation of credit approval memoranda (CAM) in order to document new and amended facilities (GTS, loan commitment and trading line) and the accurate processing of these through the bank systems to ensure data integrity is maintained.
* Review approved CAM to ensure it complies with bank policy.
* Identify and resolve or escalate data discrepancies in various systems of record.
* Investigate and respond to enquiries from credit officers and other business partners.
* Monitor routine exception reporting
* Proactively manage forthcoming credit events and financial monitoring requirements through to timely completion.
* Maintain accurate Electronic and Original Credit Filing records
* Manage ad hoc requests and participate in portfolio projects initiatives as required

Requirements
Essential:
* University graduate or equivalent and/or track record of relevant experience.
* PC literate and systems oriented with proficiency in all Microsoft applications
* Strong communication skills, both written/oral, can communicate effectively across various lines of business and levels.
* Ability to adapt quickly to a changing environment and responsibilities
* Quickly learns and understand products, systems and core job tasks
* Functions under pressure to meet deadlines, proficient at multi-tasking and managing competing priorities
* Can independently analyze complex issues, identify and execute on practical solutions
* Proactively shares information/ideas and consistently identifies best practices
* Ability to work as part of a diverse team and display reliability, flexibility and open/constructive communication in a courteous and professional manner
* Can influence others and build positive working relationships
* Aptitude to take on additional ad hoc initiatives outside of normal day to day activities with minimal direction.
