Projektbeschreibung

The PORTFOLIO ADVISOR is responsible for coordinating and driving the diverse projects and initiatives across the technology landscape and application portfolio.

The Portfolio Advisor partners with the Design Authority, Project Managers, Solution Leads and business stakeholders as well as cross functional groups eg tax. They have a deep understanding of the business, business processes and applications, as well as information and data in the Group Reporting portfolio and Enterprise/Finance Performance Management (EPM) in general.

This position has the following accountabilities:

- Act as escalation point and facilitator for key cross project decision points and conflict situations;
- Maintain solution integration and overview across the diverse projects, working with PMs, IRM, Design Authority and Architecture;
- Partner with the business stakeholders to priorities projects and initiatives, ensuring the business needs are not compromised through delivery;
- Together with the Group Business Systems owner, own the backlog and prioritization thereof;
- Work with the business, Architecture and the Portfolio Analyst to assess and maintain the technology roadmap for the domain;
- Overseeing and challenge functional requirements within and between projects; helping to ensure consistency and alignment both for immediate projects and pipeline projects;
- Overseeing and challenging the technical delivery within and between;
- projects, helping to ensure that delivered technical solutions meet the business requirements;
- Provide advice to projects with regards to stage gate planning, dependencies to other projects in the portfolio, external influences (eg vendors, partners) and other stakeholders;
- Coordinating engagement, alignment and challenge within programme third parties - SAP, T-Systems, Accenture etc..

UNIQUE CHARACTERISTICS:

- The role requires knowledge of the Financial Close process, Financial Statements, Group Consolidations and Financial Performance Reporting;
- The candidate must be able to deal with senior stakeholders both in Group Reporting as in the Business Finance operations;
- Getting the most out of the existing systems through involvement in the continuous improvement initiatives ensuring that all IT contributions are well integrated with the business improvement activities;
- Getting more value out of data and process through the application of existing and new IT technology;
- Prioritisation of new IT investments within limited funding capacity.

SKILLS
- 2+ years understanding of financial reporting and performance management processes;
- Minimum Education or Certification: 4-year Degree related to IT or equivalent work experience;
- Typical Job Grade of Supervisor/Manager: JG2 or higher;
- Familiar with master data management/governance domain Agile project experience;
- Understanding of one or more of key technologies: SAP Business Objects Financial Consolidation, SAP Business Planning and Consolidation, SAP Masterdata Management, SAP Business Warehouse, Business Objects, Analysis for Office;
- Good understanding of Cloud and SaaS principles;
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills;
- Ability to communicate concisely and clearly.
