Online Development Manager/Web Portal Manager/Online Portal Design Manager
Location - Dublin/Rates - €350-450 per day

An experienced Online Development Manager/Web Portal Development & Design Manager needed urgently to lead the design and delivery of a major online and web protal devopment project aimed at improving the all round internal and external Online/Portal functionality for a major Communications/Multi-media client. As Web Development Manager/Online Development & Design Manager you have a strong understanding of web application architecture and web development, methodologies and will work closelky with and leading a team of approximately 5-6 Developers, ensuring that commercial objectives are fully understood and delivered against through the successful full development life cycle.
KEY SKILLS REQUIRED:
Previous experience developing enterprose sclae Online/Portal Devlopment solutions including a proven ability to review and introduce key processes, standards, strategies, governance and Service Design plans to underpin the successful high and low level design of web and online solutions.
Strong stakeholder, team leading and vendor managemebt skills with the ability to proactively develop and maintain strong relationships with key business & technology stakeholders, strategic vendors, partners and teams, with the ability to communicate successfully to both a business and technical audience and leverage the maximum benefit and support from all partnerships.
Excellent leadership skills with experience of leading teams of at least 5-6 design and development engineers.
Strong understanding of web application architecture, platforms (Apache, Tomcat, JBOSS) and Web Services.
Strong understanding of Web Development technologies, in particular J2EE (Spring, MVC patterns etc)
Additional expertise in SSO Frameworks, Content Management Systems, Database Technologies (MSSQL, MySQL) and/or High-availability clustering (Application Server, Database etc)
This is a high priority contract role with interview slots available this week for a potential start 8th April onwards...!
