POLICY & PORTFOLIO MANAGER - PERSONALISED HEALTHCARE

LOCATION: CAMBRIDGE

CONTRACT DURATION: 9 MONTHSDescription of the role

The Policy & Portfolio Manager is accountable for representing Personalised Healthcare policies across therapeutic areas. Specifically, the role holder will coordinate input to Personalized Healthcare public policy and portfolio management as required.

The role holder is accountable for ensuring that members of the leadership team have accurate and up-to-date information on which to make decisions, and are appropriately represented on national bodies.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

- Ensures delivery of Policy and Portfolio processes
- Work collaboratively with internal and external teams, working across boundaries and courageously addressing issues which may inhibit effective collaboration.
- Manage the development of departmental proposals on emerging policy trends in the light of project demand, competitor benchmarking and scientific understanding.

REQUIREMENTS:

- PhD in relevant subject and/or relevant experience
- Broad scientific background (relevant to several therapeutic areas)
- Understanding and experience in personalized healthcare
- Understanding of financial, commercial, compliance, ethical and legal aspects of personalized healthcare
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proven record of leading and delivering external communication
- Ability to travel nationally as a major part of the role
- Able to influence effectively whilst maintaining independent and objective views
