Our Client a large NHS organisation based in London are looking for a Policy Officer and Briefing Lead

Description

. To help set up and establish a Briefing Unit within the New Care models team/a high profile programme

. Duties will include understanding and briefing on a range of issues covering the programme, including drafting letters on behalf of the director, briefing for the Chief Executive and contributions to Parliamentary questions and speeches.

. You will brief and accompany the director, New Care Models programme, on a number of high profile events and meetings.

Essential

. Experience of drafting briefing for ministers, as well as Parliamentary Questions, correspondence and speeches

. Experience of office administration and project management

. Ability to produce high quality presentations and Powerpoint slide/decks.

. Ability to work at pace

. High quality drafting skills.

Desirable

. Civil service experience desirable.

. Experience of working in a private office desirable.

. Knowledge of the NHS and Health and Care System.
