ABOUT THE ROLE
The Department for People is looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join us for a temporary period as a Policy Officer. Working with the Group Manager and colleages across the department the successful candidate will support managers in undertaking a review of existing policies and procedures and drafting relevant updates.

ABOUT YOU
You will have knowledge of the social care environment. Can demonstrate capacity to acquire more specific knowledge as required. Have recent and relevant experience of children's services/social care, or other directly relevant experience.
Experience of developing and writing effective policy and working practice documents. Some experience of audit, research or investigation experience.
