You will be responsible for the following:
- Undertake analysis of a range of material as a basis for sound advice to senior officials and Ministers recognising wider policy and political implications
- Maintain and developing good working relationships with both internal and external partners
- Co-ordinating arrangements and briefing, including speeches, for a variety of Ministerial meetings with partner organisations, key stakeholders and individual businesses. Undertake research and drafting for events, submissions, Parliamentary Questions and other briefing
- Attend quarterly meetings of the Scottish Manufacturing Advisory Service (SMAS) and Industry Leadership Group
