POLICY ANALYST - BANKING

Based in Manchester an excellent opportunity exists on a contract basis for a POLICY ANALYST to provide expert input into the development and successful application of operational, customer and remediation policies across open and closed book, secured and unsecured lending portfolios for a major financial services client.

You will be responsible for drafting and proofing input into the formulation of regulatory and banking compliant policy. Provide high calibre support and oversight to the successful implementation of policies; management of stakeholders throughout policy development and implementation; operate within a formal governance environment.

Candidates need knowledge of working with CCA, MCOB, BCOB, DISP, TCF and FCA principles. Experience in the development and application of policy within a UK regulated financial services environment including complaint handling, customer redress and remediation. Excellent written and communication skills - strong stakeholder management with the ability to resolve objections in order to reach a collectively acceptable and agreed position. Experience of making successful and balanced judgements in areas of commercial, regulatory and media sensitivity. Ability to quickly understand and undertake robust critical analysis of large volumes of complex numerical data and business information. Experience of running effective governance of policy decisions and their compliant implementation across customer contact operations and project environments. Ability to work in a fast paced, high pressurised and complex environment.

Initially a 3-6 month contract however there is a good opportunity of additional extensions. Rate is negotiable. Recruitment Zone acting as an employment business in regard to this advert.
