Policy Advisor

Role: Policy Advisor
Target Daily rate: 250-275/day
Type: Contract
Duration: 3-4 months +

My government client is looking for an experienced policy advisor to join them until the end of October 2014. The purpose of the post is to provide policy input in to the development of a key strategic piece on a high profile, multi-stakeholder programme.

As such, the successful candidate must fulfil the following requirements:

-policy experience
-solid understanding of public sector energy and climate policy
-excellent problem solving, numeracy and analytical skills
-excellent stakeholder communications capabilities and the ability to engage technical information to a generalist audience
-proactive approach to knowledge sharing
-experience of working in a complex or high profile programme environment
