Policy Advisor

£320 per day

A Policy Advisor is required for our Public Sector client with the following skills and experience:
*Good drafting skills are essential for this role
*The ability to handle and comprehend work on a range of projects simultaneously, sometimes under tight deadlines
*Ability to provide well-written assessments, proposals and reports, using relevant data
*Strategy and policy development
*Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders
*Ability to coordinate, collate and synthesise information from across the organisation and wider stakeholders to support senior decision-making
*Ability to support high-level meeting, including preparation of meeting schedules draft agendas, minutes and other supporting documentation

The following are all essential for the role:
*Experience in developing strategy and policy, ideally in a policing area
*Experience of working in or managing high level working groups/or providing secretariat support
*Experience of working to a range of senior leaders

The following are all highly desirable:
*Knowledge of the current policing context in the widest sense and ability to carry out effective horizon scanning
