PMO Zurich GERMAN Speaker - Banking/Finance contract 6-12 months.
DESCRIPTION
CANDIDATE WILL REPORT INTO AN ODP AND RISK ASSESSMENT STREAM LEAD.
THE RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
-CO-ORDINATION ROLE FOR THE FRONT TO BACK ODP PROCESS.
-CONTROL FUNCTION REVIEWS & APP RISK ASSESSMENT CO-ORDINATION, PRIORITISATION AND REVIEWS.
-COORDINATING WITH MULTIPLE PROJECT TEAMS FOR ODP & APP ASSESSMENT FROM INITIATE STAGE TO COMPLETION
-NEED TO WORK CLOSELY WITH THE GCS TRANSITION TEAMS FOR ODP & APP RISK ASSESSMENTS
-HANDS ON EXPERIENCE IN COMPILING DATA FROM MULTIPLE SOURCES AND PRESENTING IT IN A CONCISE MANNER AND HIGHLIGHT TRUE RAG STATUS.
-ENSURING PROACTIVE UPDATES OF TASKS PROGRESS & TIMELY COMPLETION.
-GENERATING PERIODIC REPORTS FOR DIFFERENT STAKEHOLDERS AND ESCALATING ON TIMELY MANNER BASED ON RAG STATUS.
-MAINTAINING UP-TO-DATE SHAREPOINT REPOSITORY
-EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION SKILLS
-ENSURING COMPLIANCE AND PROCESS ADHERENCE
-REQUIRES AN OVERVIEW OF APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT, SDLC CONTROLS, SUPERVISION, POLICIES ETC.
REQUIREMENTS

-Educated to a Degree level.
-2+ years of work experience in business analysis.
-Excellent communication and people management skills.
-Financial/Banking Industry experience preferred.

This is an opportunity for an experienced project/change/Transition Manager to play an integral role within a fast-paced team driving change across the firm. As a Workforce Project Manager, you will have a challenging role in a team responsible for defining and managing the implementation of strategic workforce initiatives in Switzerland and EMEA (primarily Poland but possibly including other locations in Central and Eastern Europe).
Your responsibilities will include:
Working with business functional leads and vendors to manage and support the execution and implementation of Group Technology workforce project plans.
Leading outsourcing transitions across multiple waves managing both vendor and internal staff through successful transitions.
Providing timely, clear, concise and accurate senior management updates.
Ensuring compliance with Operational Risk and project and transition methodology requirements throughout the project life cycle.
Ensuring that best practices are leveraged across the teams and issues dealt with within the stream or escalated to senior management.
Provide SME input to the creation of business outsourcing and offshoring pipelines.
You ideally fulfil the following requirements:
Minimum 6 years of project management and/or management consulting experience.
Previous experience leading programs and/or work-streams in the movement of workforce or outsourcing of IT processes.
Experience managing senior stakeholders up to and including Managing Director (or equivalent) levels.
Ability to manage teams and objectives with conflicting priorities across functions, businesses and time zones.
Excellent written and spoken English.
Ability to influence decisions and individuals without formal authority.
Ability to build effective business cases to quantify the costs and benefits of workforce projects.
Ability to understand, interpret and draw conclusions from management and financial data.
Ability to travel and conduct multi-time zone meetings outside of local business hours.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, MS Project).
Additional assets:
Understanding of IT Application Development processes/SDLC, particularly within Investment Banking, Asset Management and Wealth Management environments.
Project Management certification and/or International Association of Outsourcing Professionals certification (COP or COS FA).
Written and spoken German.
