PMO Support Officer

My client is currently searching for a PMO Support Officer to provide PMO functionality to various workstreams and ad hoc projects.

Project Management methodology knowledge and experience is essential and the successful candidate will need to have excellent communication skills.

The PMO Support Officer will be responsible for:

* Working with workstream/project leads in developing project and programme plans (using software tools as directed)

* Tracking of activities, tasks and milestones

* Identifying progress/delays against plans and working with workstream/project leads to develop mitigating actions and updating the relevant records/software tools as required to generate reports, and ensuring that reports are submitted in line with deadlines

* Ensuring interdependencies between the projects/workstreams they are supporting and other projects/workstreams are identified and included in all relevant plans

* Reviewing with workstream and project teams their risks relating to the project/workstream/merger and updating the relevant issue/risk registers to generate reports

* Proactively collecting and storing information to ensure that there is an up-to-date central view of relevant data relating to the workstream and any sub-workstreams and projects

* Pro-actively identifying and escalating risks and issues

* Ensure that the project/workstream is maintaining adequate filing and document management systems

* Actively maintaining the project/workstream action log to include regular review
