Next Ventures are currently executing a search for a skilled Project Planner - for an exciting new program in Copenhagen

Job description/Overall position description with general areas of responsibility listed:

Main Responsibilities will be:

1) to maintain and developed the SWITCH integrated programme plan,

2) to manage the coordination and integration of the integrated programme plan with detailed stream plans

3) to work with project stream manages to develop the maturity of detailed project planning, in to support critical path analysis and earned value analysis programme measures.

Specific Tasks to be performed during the engagement/Key Deliverables/Milestones:

Module/technical skills required:

Development tools methodologies are to be used

Will comply to IBM Ascendent SAP methodology. So knowledge of this Methodology will be a key asset.

Must have/mandatory skills: MS Project expert.

If the consultant has worked as a Lead PMO or project planner within a Large Global SAP programme this would be of high interest to the customer. An excellent command of written and spoken English is a requirement. Good Ms Excel, Word and Powerpoint skills are required.

The ideal candidate you have 2-3 years experience working in a project organisation or have managed small projects independently. You could also have experience as a junior project manager/consultant. You have knowledge of project management tools and methodologies including Lean methodology and may hold a PRINCE2 certificate. 

You must have an excellent communication skills and ability to influence, persuade, and collaborate and also to enforce difficult decisions. English is crucial, and so are excellent presentation and facilitation skills, proficiency in conflict resolution, and practical experience with problem solving techniques such as negotiation and compromise.

You have strong personal drive and able to work under pressure. As a person you thrive on working independently in a dynamic environment with new challenges and responsibility from day one. Analytical skills and understanding drivers of success and value are critical competences to possess. Project switch, The focus of the project consist on changing how the client operates its financial processes.

The project Switch is a five quarter project, which is driven by different parts of the business and consist in heavily modify our process accompanied by an improvement in the SAP platform to achieve better and faster financial information. The project Switch will have a global impact over 100 countries and it is part of the must win battles (key priorities) in order to achieve our strategic goals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

You will assist the department with a wide range of tasks such as:
General ad hoc administrative tasks, including preparation for meetings, development and maintenance of our Intranet. 
Preparation of presentations and materials for meetings and workshops. Engagement with different stakeholders and follow up on deliverable s, etc.
Additional responsibilities depend on the ability of the candidate to learn client  process and time availability.
