DESCRIPTION:
My client has an exciting opportunity for a PMO Project Manager to work in their Dublin based office on a 6 month contract.
COMPANY BACKGROUND:
My client is a multinational pharmaceutical company
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- To provide PMO support for projects and services
- Understand the process
- Develop training material and deliver training
- Support in creating budget items in Clarity
- Manage the process of creating the 2015 project and application budget
- Manage the SharePoint based demand management tool as required
- Work with stakeholders to evolve functionality to meet needs
- Act as a single point of contact for all PMO related activities
- Understand how Clarity works and improve the process of utilising Clarity as a project and portfolio management tool
- Adhere to defined management and delivery processes for IT projects and other policies relevant to the project scope.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENT:
- At least 5 years' experience in IT project management with 2 years' experience in a Project office or PMO environment
- Ideally, 3 years' experience in a GXP validated environment in the Pharmaceutical or Medical Device industry
- Experience with industrial strength Project and portfolio management tool such as Clarity or Microsoft Project
- Proven track record in managing budgets
- Beneficially, experience with offshore development teams
- Ideally has experience of agile methodologies and of managing projects in a regulated environment
- Degree in IT and/or relevant business education
