PURPOSE OF THE PROGRAMME

The Corporate Pensions Transformation team manage the change portfolio across Corporate Pensions.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

PMO Planning Manager

Leads and is accountable for the programme planning, co-ordination and milestone tracking for a Transformation Programme. Planning is based around MS Project, Excel and Plan representation on Powerpoint. The candidate will need gravitas as key stakeholders are at a very senior level in the organisation. The Planner will work hands on with multiple workstreams that incorporate design and process mapping, IT, Training, Target Operating Model Development and Programme Assurance. Within the multiple workstreams the Planner will be facing off to Heads of Delivery within the Programme and across the organisation

CORE SKILLS

- Maintain the Programme Plan
- Run weekly reports and interface with workstream leads to advise on planning progress, monitoring performance and provide advice on scheduling to maintain plan
- Manage the initial interlock with programmes/projects and ensure team maintain appropriate artefacts to sign off delivery
- Maintain planning RAID
- Provide consultancy for new team members as to what the PMO planning service is and how best to utilise it
- Lead the planning feedback loop within the team to PMO analysts and externally.
- Provide weekly reports on Milestone progress, 8 week look ahead
- Provide guidance on Change Requests for milestones slipping
- Maintain and develop interlock with major programmes to help aide planning and streamline multiple release interlocks
- Support the Head of PMO with production of MI

DESIRED SKILLS

- Self starter, proactive approach, capable of working autonomously or as part of a team
- Attention to detail - Excellent Oral and Written Communication.
- Excellent time management and organisational awareness.
- Advanced Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
