PMO Planning Manager - Corporate Pensions - Insurance

I have an exciting opportunity for an experienced PMO Planning Manager with on of the UK's biggest financial services providers on an initial 6 month contract based in Edinburgh. The position sits within the Insurance division of the business on a pensions transformation programme. This team controls all aspects of the change portfolio within this area so they require someone comfortable operating at programme portfolio level.

In order to be considered for this role candidates must have the following skills and experience:

- Strong experience maintaining Programme Plans across a number of critical workstreams within the portfolio
- Run weekly reports and interface with workstream leads to advise on planning progress, monitoring performance and provide advice on scheduling to maintain plan
- Maintain planning RAID's
- Experience leading the planning feedback loop within the team to PMO analysts and externally.
- Comfortable providing weekly reports on Milestone progress including 8 week look ahead's
- Provide guidance on Change Requests for milestones slipping
- Maintain and develop interlock with major programmes to help aide planning and streamline multiple release interlocks
- Support the Head of PMO with production of MI for senior level meetings and progress reports.

Strong portfolio planning experience will be preferred over those with planning experience as a PMO Manager.Recruitment Zone acting as an employment business in regard to this advert.
