This role will provide PMO support to the Options and Structured Rates Technology business. This role will report into to the COO of Options and Structured Rates (OSR) Technology and will work closely with the OSR Project Managers.
Main Duties
Financial Management
§ Track program actuals to budget on an ongoing basis across programmes
§ Implement a process to validate and challenge project budgets on regular basis
§ Take necessary action to understand and reduce future variance
§ Work with project managers and finance reps to ensure that costs are captured appropriately
§ Design and produce relevant reporting
Project Governance / Reporting
§ Prepare and consolidate content for presentations to senior management, steering committees and front office business sponsors
§ Work with business aligned technology PMOs to develop and implement standard operational processes and procedures
§ Develop guidance on project structure and ensure the appropriate projects are set in up the central tracking tools
§ Work with various Project Managers and PMOs to create effective program and project structures
§ Track and monitor project progress for all projects as required
§ Provide analysis and reporting on time recording information
§ Ensure consistent, accurate, and timely project status/ad hoc reporting as required
§ Use past industry/PM experience conduct project reviews, highlight potential gaps and feedback to PMs and management as required
§ Ensure compliance to central processes is maintained across the teams
§ Monitor monthly operational metrics and proactively take action to improve efficiency and productivity
§ Support and instil project best practice across the group
§ Produce high quality presentations and steering committee documentation
§ Create communications plan for the department, ensure consistent delivery of key messages
Person Requirements
Qualifications /Education:
Essential - Good academic qualifications with a relevant degree/equivalent.
Preferred - Experience with project methodologies

§ Strong analysis and problem solving skills
§ Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with senior internal stakeholders
§ Ability to network and influence others without direct oversight and supervision

§ Prior experience of working in a corporate banking environment
Skills required:
§ Advanced use of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and planning tools (Microsoft Project)
§ Experience with SharePoint site creation and maintenance
