PMO Manager - Retail Banking Group - Payments - Glasgow - £459/day

My client, a leading UK Retail Bank, are currently recruiting for a PMO Manager to work on a Payments programme.

PURPOSE OF THE PROGRAMME

Specific delivery portfolio consists of a number of LRM and Client Change Programmes within the Global Payments business area, supporting Global Payments Strategy

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

Provide the governance, reporting, planning and support services for portfolio of Client Initiated and Cross Divisional Project

Embedding common PMO methodologies, tools and processes to assist effective delivery within cost, quality and timescale objectives. The PMO Manager will be a member of a centralised PMO model and service, however will be dedicated to a specific PMO delivery team within the portfolio.

- Strong experience working in a Matrix environment

- Builds and maintains relevant internal networks to share knowledge and best practice and to build the profile and capability of the PMO and change management community.
- Ability to be proactive and work with minimal supervision

DESIRED SKILLS

Desired experience: Having worked within a PMO team going through a significant operational change.
