PMO Manager

One of our key clients is currently seeking a PMO Manager to join their team for an initial 6 month contract.

The PMO Manager is responsible for centralising administration, performs reporting, forecasting, cost accounting, scheduling, quality and risk management as well as managing all program documentation.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

- Extensive senior level experience in leading and managing the delivery of PMO assurance management services to a PMO within a large and complex organisation.
- Extensive senior level experience in the development, implementation and evaluation of assurance controls and reporting processes.
- Contribute to the development and management of PMO budgets and risk management plans.
- Able to lead & manage the development and implementation of program assurance, management reporting processes and ensuring best practice assurance management skills, behaviours and capabilities are adhered to across the program.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills - able to assist the Program Director to build & maintain relationships
- Manage, design and optimise the IT portfolio assurance management function through the application of consistent and appropriate levels of assurance and oversight. This includes the development, implementation and tracking of performance metrics, dependency tracking, assurance plans, coordination of quality assurance reviews, tracking of review findings and facilitation of project closure.
- Government experience highly regarded
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal & presentational)
