A fantastic opportunity has surfaced for a PMO Lead (Business Change) to work within a large multi-national organisation, specialising in the Financial Services. This great PMO Lead (Business Change) opportunity is open to a PMO Lead (Business Change) that can successfully demonstrate comprehensive experience in developing and managing an aggregated (portfolio) view of delivery performance, resources, costs, issues/risks, change impacts etc within a transformation context.

Background:

Our client has agreed to establish a new Group Finance Transformation Team as a result of the increased frequency and scale of change in this department and the significant pipeline of future change projects.

Responsibilities:

* Develop and manage an aggregated (portfolio) view of delivery performance, resources, costs, issues/risks, change impacts etc
* Develop effective reporting packs (to Executive level)
* To act as the appointed deputy, as appropriate, for the Head of Change Delivery when absent
* Provide proactive identification of delivery issues/themes to Project Manager/Head of Change Delivery with appropriate recommendations
* Manage schedule and resource dependencies and conflict between initiatives
* Actively review effectiveness of project management methods/capability.
* Ensure that projects are being delivered within the current corporate governance framework
* Provide proactive support to projects inc leading initiation workshops, supporting project healthchecks, facilitation of lessons learnt session etc

Experience Required:

* At least 5 years' of experience withinn a PMO capacity
* Experience in designing, implementing or supporting programmes in a transformation context
* Experience of project and programme control frameworks
* Advanced knowledge/application of project planning processes and techniques
* Advanced knowledge/application of project methodology
* Advanced knowledge of potential sources of risk and their impact on project success
* Advanced stakeholder management skills
* Advanced financial management skills
* Advanced/application of monitoring and reporting skills

The successful PMO Lead (Business Change) will become an Employed Consultant of Hyphen and will work onsite for our Client, a UK Financial Services Group.
