PMO - French Speaking - Paris

*THIS POSITION IS BASED ON CLIENT SITE IN PARIS. ONLY FLUENT FRENCH SPEAKERS CAN BE CONSIDERED*

We are currently searching a PMO, who is looking for a contract opportunity to work on client site in Paris on a large systems integration project with our client .

The successful candidate will take ownership of tracking and reporting on a number of different activities as well as chasing people on actions, updates etc.

THESE AREAS INCLUDE:

- The status of projects underway at different accounts as reported by the relevant Engagement Leads or Project Managers, including key risks and issues. The candidate will be expected to use their PMO experience to summarise and prioritise reports for management review and advise on patterns etc. to input to best practice creation. The candidate will also need to own escalating actions to relevant internal stakeholders where appropriate and advise on areas such as resource utilisation, financial tracking etc.
- Business development activities at accounts across the globe, using analytical skills to build and own resource forecasts, sales heat maps across accounts, services etc., ensuring that the relevant teams do not miss opportunities and are focused on the right agendas
- Resource forecasts and administration for the team. Where extra resources are required, the candidate will liaise with recruitment companies to source suitable contract or permanent candidates and will arrange for CVs to be reviewed, interviews set up etc. as well as then arranging the logistics of onboarding new joiners such as obtaining new laptops, email addresses and passes. Liaise with recruitment companies to extend contracts as required

The successful candidate may occasionally be expected to help out on-site at client sites if necessary, tracking client project activities, noting workshop minutes and actions or assisting with appropriate tasks. These activities may be abroad so the candidate needs to be able to travel.

Additionally, the candidate should drive the collaboration agenda, ensuring the team shares information and has aligned working practices, possibly including administering a collaboration tool. The candidate will also support administration tasks such as booking travel for team members.

KEY SKILLS

- Experience with IPTV/Digital Video is preferable, but experience with IT companies an advantage
- At least 3 year's experience as a Programme Management Officer in a technical work environment
- Strong attention to detail to review and scrutinise documents and approaches
- Highly organised, ensuring all activities are tracked and documented and able to ensure tasks are carried out on time
- Strong personality to chase senior stakeholders on upcoming/overdue actions and tasks
- Excellent stakeholder management and verbal and written communication skills including the ability to tailor comms to different teams/people, always clearly and concisely documenting and recording relevant updates, outcomes, decisions, risks, issues, dependencies etc.
- Pro-active approach to risk mitigation and management, leveraging lessons learnt on similar engagements to expedite timescales and ensure success
- Ability to juggle own time to ensure tasks complete on target in an environment with multiple different types of work ongoing in parallel
- Critical analysis and problem solving skills to suggest improvements to processes or highlight issues to management
- Excellent Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel skills
- Ability to create and maintain simple dependency-based project plans in Microsoft Project
- Good understanding of SharePoint
- Ability to act in a customer-facing environment, presenting a calm and professional approach
- Exposure to financial estimation, tracking and management
