REQUIREMENTS:
3+ years of Financial Analysis experience in a corporate environment, skills including experience in Data Analysis, Financial Analysis, Finance, Data reporting, and Financial Reporting - Business Analysis experience a plus
Bachelors Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or relatedExpert in Excel - Experience with Microsoft Office Tools including Advanced Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint, and Visio.
Ability to solicit and obtain information from various stakeholders.
Ability to handle multiple concurrent activities/projects and work in a challenging fast paced environment.
Independent worker and analytical thinker with ability to conduct research, data analysis and resolve complex problems
Strong analytical (quantitative as well as qualitative) skills
Ability to switch from complex to routine tasks when required
Ability to work with "virtual" teams
Strong communication skills around accounting and technology and specifically, the ability to translate between the two.
Ability to distill and present complex information clearly and briefly in both written and oral formIndependent worker
Healthcare Industry experience is a plus but not required
JOB DESCRIPTION
This position represents the reporting and financial analysis specialty on project teams as the representative of the PMO, and is responsible for gathering and analysing data, assisting in defining business realization metrics, creating consolidated reporting for project cost, benefit realization, and KPIs.
Responsibilities also include researching, planning, preparing status reports, and writing project documentation.
Create or update existing monthly, quarterly and annual cost benefit realization statements, showing results of the PMO's project portfolio performance against historical, budgeted, forecasted and strategic planning.
Prepare financial reports, charts, tables and other exhibits as requested.
Build analytical models that utilize both financial and non-financial data to track key business metrics for projects assigned to the portfolio.
Assist project managers to find alternative solutions for the source data where appropriate.
Provide analysis support to project teams for assigned projects.
Maintain and develop various financial models and standard templates distributed for use by all project managers assigned to the program.
Improve project financial status by analysing results; monitoring variances; identifying trends; recommending actions to management.
Guide PMO financial analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures; providing trends and forecasts; explaining processes and techniques; recommending actions.
Increases productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools.
Conduct comparable analysis as necessary in support of key business metrics and objectives.
Prepare ad hoc analysis for assigned projects including analysing raw financial data as well as compiling reports, graphs and presentations.
