PMO EXECUTIVE

Role Overview:

My customer is looking for a PROJECT MANAGEMENT OFFICE EXECUTIVE who will be responsible for providing project and program management expertise and services to a professional unit by working with clientand Vendors to develop and deliver business and technical solutions to client satisfaction.

The PMO Executive will be well versed in typical Program Management Office services including Risk and Issue Management, Planning and Logistics, Project Reporting and analysis. The PMO Executive will be working in a Matrix management structure reporting to the PMO Manager and supporting 5-10 Work Stream leads.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

- Develop and manage both client & vendor relationships, project plans and resources
- Clear understanding of Change Management life cycle including stages of change management
- Tracking Deliveries and maturity of delivery
- Conduct research analysis, using data gathering techniques
- Management of activities such as Action Items, Business Requirements progressing them across vendor, project team and client resources
- Implement techniques to improve engagement and productivity
- Ensure deliverables are on-time and within budget, increase efficiency, and achieve cost savings
- Advise and escalate on any non-performance of resources
- Provide knowledge transfer, monitor team engagement and performance
- Build and consolidate management presentations, internal and external status reports, presentations to clients, etc.
- Lead projects/activities by setting aggressive targets and helping the project team to meet them
- Issue weekly status updates for the account management and PDU management
- Act as point of contact for program management issues of the professional unit

REQUIREMENTS:

- 5+ years of project management experience in telecom industry, ideally within OSS/BSS arena
- 3+ years of consulting expertise, Big 5 consulting experience preferred
- Ability to work under pressure and within short notice
- Self-sufficient and self-motivated able to work off own initiative
- Articulate with particular attention to detail and quality of deliverables
- Ability to influence and implement processes
- Excellent communication skills, leadership skills, and self-motivation
