PMO Coordinator

Our client is an innovative and highly successful organisation that has carved an impressive reputation across the manufacturing and retail industries. This role reports to the PMO Manager.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL BE:

- Supporting project managers in managing projects
- Maintaining the Register of current and potential programs, project initiatives
- Provide admin support to Project Managers including workshop/meeting administration and the establishment and maintenance of the filing system (in conjunction with the Information/Configuration Management function)
- Implement guidelines, procedures and templates to collect and maintain consistent data and provide hands-on delivery support to a program or project
- Facilitate the creation and update of program or project plans as required by the program/project manager. Identify where cross-project dependencies exist and track/monitor these in support of the program/project manager

IN ADDITION TO THE ABOVE RESPONSIBILITIES, TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED TO HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

- Proven experience as a PMO Coordinator or Project Coordinator/Administrator ideally in a large PMO environment or projects environment.
- Understanding of PRINCE2 Project Management principles and framework
- Understanding of configuration management (document version control)
- Observes intricacies and details while at the same time, sees things from a bigger perspective
- Experienced user of MS Project and MS Office toolset (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint)
