PMO CONSULTANT - BRUSSELS, BELGIUM

LANGUAGES: ENGLISH with FRENCH and DUTCH

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

- Proven experience and knowledge of program and project management processes and tools
- Experience of Program Management Office processes and tools set-up and maintenance
- Proven experience and efficiency in PMO data capturing, controlling, analysis and reporting
- Proven experience in PMO with:
- At least 5 years working as a PMO consultant
- Number of programs working as a PMO consultant
- Number of projects included in the largest Portfolio you have managed
- Maturity level of the most performant PMO you worked for
- Proven experience of Microsoft packages including MS Project, Powerpoint, Word and Excel and ability to manipulate data using formulas, pivot tables, graphs
- Demonstrated experience of project management tools and techniques
- Effective tracking and communication of project status and metrics
- Ability to analyse and improve performance of PMO processes
- Working knowledge of PMI processes
- Working knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
- Problem-solving skills
- Communication/Negotiation skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Analytic skills
- Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills
- Presentation skills

DESCRIPTION OF WORK:

- Define and maintain the PMO processes and tools to ensure the program management documentation, reports and plans are relevant and complete
- Collect and consolidate material from project reports and ensure accuracy and completeness
- Track, monitor and report on the program performance and the PMO performance
- Provide support and guidance to project managers, project team to the best use of the PMO processes and tools.
- Deliver project information about all projects and studies
- Improve communication so that the program stakeholders are informed about the program and project status and metrics
