I am looking for a PMO Budget coordinator for a contract of 1 year + in Brussels
My client is an international company!
Mission:
You will be responsible to manage the budget related to the project implementation for a new corporate SAP solution.
The mission includes:
- Gather all needed information required to build a detailed budget at activity/task level
- Define/develop/maintain input templates and reporting to be used to build a proper detailed budget and related variance reporting
- Assist and advise project and program manager to the best use of project management budget disciplines and approaches
- Act as a reference point for all project budget related queries
- Manage budget, forecasts in alignment with the project plan, gather actuals in order to explain variances
- Maintain resource database and related information in order to provide work centers with required capacity and related costing
- Maintain all relevant project registers and processes to ensure project management documentation, reports and plans are relevant, accurate and complete
- Develop and report on project budget variances in a comprehensive view and so for all areas and phases of the project
- Maintain staffing plans based on feedback from the project managers and/or program management
- Maintain and update the related time reporting tool in line with the project and staffing plans and in alignment with the granularity level used to build the budget
- Facilitate, track and report on project actuals through time reporting
- Understand the project deliverables and related challenges through cooperative and collegial processes with the overall project team members and stakeholders
- Ensure delivery as per defined deadlines
Profile:
EXPERIENCED PROGRAM MANAGEMENT OFFICE COORDINATOR HAVING WORKED IN A SAP IMPLEMENTATION PROJECT ENVIRONMENT and primarily FOCUSED ON THE BUDGET MANAGEMENT:
- Proven PMO/Project Coordinator experience (Min. 5 years) and knowledge of project management methodologies
- Proven experience in maintaining and managing project plans, staffing plans including ETC's, MANAGE BUDGET AND ANALYZE VARIANCES, output progress reporting
- Demonstrated capability to gather figures from all work centers in order to build budget, forecasts and actuals
- Proven experience in setting up detailed budget and forecast, AT ACTIVITY/TASK LEVEL
- Understanding of the principles and frameworks of successful project management from a support, reporting, quality, measurement, control and coordination perspective
- Understanding of project delivery and acceptance processes within a fast-paced business environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as excellent presentation skills with ability to clearly report on budget variances at management and detailed levels
- Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills
- Expertise with MS Project, MS Excel
- Experienced user with MS Office tools
- Knowledge of Open Workbench and MS Access is a strong asset
- Knowledge of SAP is an asset
- Speaking, reading and writing ENglish & FRench - Trilingual EN/FR/NL preferred
- Natural communicator and easy navigator in multi-cultural, complex & political contexts
- Pro-active, organized, structured, seeking for the details, analytical
