PMO Analyst Risk and Governance

Purpose of Role

The PMO Analyst will define the process and then drive the project community to adhere to it. In addition they will work with the Programme and Project Management community with the opportunity to add value in conjunction with policing and carrying out an administrative role.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify, analyse, responds to and monitors programme risks
- Determines prioritisation of Program risks
- Works with the Programme and Project Management community to maximise the probability and impact of positive events and minimises the probability and impact of adverse events
- Maintain a comprehensive Risk and Issue framework and documentation, as they relate to timelines and co-dependencies, and coordinate solutions development.
- Provide MI to various meetings
- Support and Administer various meetings
- Maintain project risk & issue process
- Risk & issue templates
- Govern project risk & issue process

Skills and Experience

- Experience of working as part of a decent sized (4+) PMO before
- Must have worked on large programmes before
- Must have experience in at least one of the following areas
- Risk and Issue Management - it is vital to have experience of developing, implementing and maintaining a risk and issue management framework and process
- Defining and implementing a programme governance structure
- Resource Management
- Must appreciate how to take a holistic view across multiple projects to form a programme view of risks and issues.
